Expert’s tips for coping with IBS

Irritable bowel syndrome is a functional and chronic gastrointestinal disorder. It presents many signs and symptoms such as recurrent abdominal pain, bloating, and transit disorders (diarrhea and/or constipation). IBS can be really incapacitating for patients and affect their everyday lives.

Although IBS is a common condition, it is hard to diagnose for general practitioners as there is no clear biological marker to diagnose it.
